The app keeps cloud document caches and autosaves together in ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe XD. This folder holds your own data, so a document that never synced may only exist there. Clearing helps if the app freezes or fails to sync, but you must back up unsaved work first. Do not delete this folder entirely if you have local-only changes.

After clearing, the app rebuilds necessary cache files on the next launch, causing a slower first start. You remain signed in because licensing data stays in shared Creative Cloud folders. Your cloud documents remain accessible, but any local autosaves not previously synced are lost. The app functions normally once the cache regenerates.
