Clear Keka Cache on Mac
To clear the Keka cache, quit the app and move its main container folder to the Trash. That folder holds temporary files and settings, and it is rebuilt automatically the next time you use the app. Your archives and extracted files are not stored there, so they are not affected.

What the Keka cache holds and when clearing helps
Specific to Keka
The main Keka container holds sandboxed settings and temporary files from compression. A second container belongs to the Finder extension and holds its settings or app data. Clearing helps when that main container stays large after a compression or extraction was cancelled or crashed, since those interrupted jobs leave behind the temporary files that take up the space. Finished archives are always saved in folders you chose, never inside the container, so clearing it will not touch them.
What happens after you clear the Keka cache
The temporary files are rebuilt automatically, so the app recreates what it needs when you next use it. Archives you created and files you extracted stay in their normal folders and are not touched. Clearing the Finder extension container removes only its settings or app data. Deleting the Keka app itself does not remove these folders or your documents, and they stay until you remove them separately.
