Clear Studio One Cache on Mac
To clear the Studio One cache, first check whether the app offers a cache option in its own menus. If it does not, quit the app and remove only the PreSonus app data in ~/Library/Application Support/PreSonus Software. Your songs and user presets stay in Documents.

Studio One has no separate cache folder. Its folders hold settings and your own data, so there is nothing to clear safely by hand.
What the Studio One cache holds
Specific to Studio One
The PreSonus Software folder holds app data and settings, so it is the place to look when you clear cached data. Your songs, projects and user presets are saved in Documents and are your own data, so they are not part of the cache. Downloaded sound sets are stored in a location you choose and are often the largest part of the space used, but they are not cache either, so leave them where they are. Clearing is worth trying when you need space back or when the app behaves oddly and your own files are fine. Studio One data typically takes 1 GB – 50 GB.
What changes after you clear the Studio One cache
Your songs, projects, user presets and any sound sets stored elsewhere remain untouched. Settings kept in the PreSonus folder may return to their defaults, so check your preferences once the app opens. Studio One is activated with your PreSonus account, so keep those sign-in details ready in case the app asks for them. If something looks wrong afterwards, the removed items can be restored from the Trash until it is emptied.
