Clear Canva Cache on Mac
To clear the Canva cache, check the app's settings for a cache option first, and if there isn't one, quit the app and remove its cache folder. Your designs stay in your Canva account, so clearing the cache does not delete them.

Canva cache folders you can clear
Canva has no separate cache folder. Its folders hold settings and your own data, so there is nothing to clear safely by hand.

The Canva folder in your Library holds the desktop app's cache and downloaded assets, such as cached images and fonts. It typically ranges from 200 MB – 5 GB, and it grows as you use the app. Clearing it helps when that growth becomes a problem or when images and fonts look out of date. Because the desktop app wraps the web editor, the folder holds cache only, and your designs remain in your account.
What happens after you clear the Canva cache
After clearing, the app rebuilds its cache as you work, so the first launch may be slower while images and fonts load again. Your designs remain in your account, and anything you downloaded stays in your Downloads folder. Clearing the cache does not remove either of these, and it does not change your own files.
