What ZBrush leaves behind

Specific to ZBrush

Dragging the app to the Trash ignores support data, settings, and a shared ZBrushData folder containing custom brushes and quicksaves. These remaining items typically occupy 2 GB – 50 GB of space. Because these directories reside in the hidden Library or separate storage areas, they persist until you manually delete them.

License
The licence is tied to your Maxon account.
Account and sync
ZBrush is licensed through a Maxon account.

Preparing to remove ZBrush

Before deletion, ensure you have backed up any personalized assets since the app does not automatically export them. You should also manage your account status to avoid licensing conflicts. Since the license is tied to your Maxon account, releasing it ensures the seat is available for another machine.
