What TablePlus leaves behind

Specific to TablePlus

Dragging the app to the Trash does not delete your saved connections, query history, or preferences. These remain in the ~/Library folder, which is hidden by default. Only manually removing these directories will fully clear the data from your system. Items in the Trash can be restored until it is emptied.

License
TablePlus has a free tier with limits and a paid license key for full use.

Preparing to remove TablePlus

Before removal, ensure you have backed up all critical information since deleting the app doesn't touch your personal database records. Connection passwords are handled differently than other settings as they reside in the macOS Keychain. You should identify which queries need to be preserved in external files.
